Growing mushrooms for food, medicine, or enjoyment is a relatively simple practice that can have a profound impact. By learning the methods needed to be successful, we develop a deeper understanding of the organisms we are working with and how they exist in the world. We will work with Oysters, Lions Mane, and Garden Giant primarily in this workshop. Each participant will take home knowledge of how to plant mushrooms from spawn into a fruiting substrate, and a small quantity of mushroom spawn.
Registration is required. Class fee is a Sliding Scale of $15-$45.
Please bring water bottles, weather-appropriate attire, brown bag lunch and snacks if needed.
