Come on out to kick off the Farmer’s Market Season with Mush Luv in Charlottesville. We’ll be offering our delicious fresh mushrooms and nourishing medicinal tinctures as well some surprises you’ll have to come try for yourself. Get ready to try your new favorite staple food!
We want to help you see fungi! In this class we will learn some basic skills needed for finding and identifying mushrooms based on their features and ecology. This will help you learn their names, their role in the ecosystem, and how other humans have related to them over time. We’ll take things a step further and practice meeting a mushroom, enabling you to open yourself up to recognizing the essential being of another organism and knowing that it is worthy of respect. Whether big or small, edible or poisonous, fungi are members of our Earthly community that deserve to be treated with kindness.
Learn the basics of gardening with mushrooms! We’ll cover how to start and maintain a mushroom garden, to help your plants and grow good food. Receive your choice of log or grow kit included in ticket price. Tickets $35

Come to the Lewis and Clark center parking lot and lets go for a mushroom walk! It’s early for a lot of mushrooms but there are always good things to see, especially down by the river. This is casual and we’ll leave the parking lot sometime around 4:15 PM, so hit the river trails if you need catch up.
